I’m so happy to show you my new wooden tray, which I’ve been dreaming about creating for ages. Let me say, I’m truly smitten with olive wood, Tunisian olive wood in particular, because it has the most stunning grain patterns I’ve seen. Each tray ends up with its own little quirks—like a tiny knot here or a swirl of color there—that give it a unique personality. I catch myself running my fingertips over the surface, admiring all those natural details.

When I first started working on this design, I knew I wanted it to be more than a functional piece.
